Seven People Shot by Gunmen in the U.S.

Grand Rapids, Michigan (AFP) - A gunman killed seven people including two children in two homes in western Michigan onThursday and then immediately wanted by the police before takingthree hostages, authorities said.

The suspect, whose name was Rodrick Dantzler, one of the hostages were freed after police surrounded a house in the city ofGrand Rapids where he was hiding.

He freed one of the hostages that he was resistant. There was a53-year-old woman who lived in the house who were released,"said Grand Rapids Police Commander Kevin Belk.

Fires Caused by Fireworks

In June, Travis County and Williamson County banned all fireworks,due to drought resources. but monday afternoon around Pilsen,different events that unexpectedly come. Children who playfireworks sparked a house fire that damaged three buildings.These fires also cause an elderly woman was rushed to the hospital because of seriously injured body section.

Officials say a fire that address the fire starts to burn on the back porch of a building with 1300 W power supply voltage, and thenspread to the eastern two nearby buildings around it.
Adjacent structures of the most heavily damaged of the three brickbuildings, which all have stores on the first floor and apartmentsabove.

Bill Clinton wants Obama re-elected

Washington (ANTARA News / AFP) - Former U.S. President Bill Clinton said on Thursday that he expects fellow Democrat Barack Obama won re-election in 2012.

"I would feel surprised if he was not elected again," Clinton told ABC News. "I always thought he would (reelected)."

Clinton, who led the United States from 1993 to 2001, was the last Democratic president who was re-elected since Franklin Roosevelt in the 1940s.

According to Clinton, the U.S. economy will simply improved on 6 November 2012 - U.S. election day - for voters to support Obama for a second term, although the unemployment rate is still relatively high. Current unemployment rate reached 9.1 percent.
